The DIAITA project has been supported by national funding through FCT within Project UIDB/00196/2020 and UIDP/00196/2020 (Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies of the University of Coimbra), as well as the Project UIDB/00657/2020 and UIDP/00657/2020 (Institute for Literature and Traditional Studies).

Under the FCT/CAPES Scientific and Technological Cooperation Program, the project “DIAITA – Lusophony Food Heritage Virtual Museum & Library (Part I – Portugal and Brazil)” has been approved in the year 2013 and was developed during the 2014/2015 biennium. Carmen Soares (CECH-UC) is the Portuguese project’s coordinator, and Regina Bustamante (Institute of History of the UFRJ) is the Brazilian one.

The funding then attributed was directed to support researchers traveling once a year to Brazil, as per the protocol signed.

This project’s references are FCT 2417 and CAPES 10396/13-0.

The project was also financed by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, within the 2014 annual program supporting Research Projects in the areas of Portuguese Language and Culture (execution year: 2015).
