The seventh session of iiiUC Training: Research Support Tools is dedicated to the ORCID platform and will be conducted by Paloma Marín-Arraiza (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7460-7794), Engagement Lead for Europe.
Very briefly, the ORCID platform provides an identifier for each researcher, an "iD ORCID", by creating a unique profile where academic and research work can be associated with institutions, as well as making connections with other researchers.
This platform is secure and does not involve registration and maintenance costs.
This training is intended to encourage researchers and researchers to create an ORCID profile in order to make their work internationally visible and properly associated.
The session will take place on January 26th at 2:30pm and is open to the entire University of Coimbra community.
