It was good to come to PubhD to speak "to an audience from different areas"
From the PhD in Chemical Engineering, Patrícia Reis brought her research project to the July edition of PubhD Coimbra: "Let's talk about wine and the treatment of effluents generated in its production". The PhD student is part of CIEPQPF - Research Center for Chemical Process Engineering and Forest Products of the University of Coimbra.
Why did you decide to participate in PubhD Coimbra?
I decided to participate because public speaking is challenging, and I have been trying to train. Even though I didn't want to - it's not "not wanting" to share the experience, but "not wanting" to, given my limitations, that's why I decided to participate: to try.
How was your experience in this edition of PubhD Coimbra?
It was very good; I enjoyed it very much. I'm sure I'll come again to attend. And I think it was good to talk about it to an audience of people from different areas.
Would you advise other colleagues to participate?
Yes. Many people are doing PhDs at CIEPQPF in this area, and I think I will advise.
