OPERAS Special Interest Groups organise discussion on multilingualism
Online meeting will take place on 27 June, during the afternoon
Discussing practical ways of adopting multilingualism in scholarly communication is the objective of the OPERAS infrastructure's next "Mutual Learning Exercise". The online event is open to anyone interested in the topic and will take place via Zoom on 27 June. Registration is now open and can be done via this link.
The Multilingualism SIG, one of the event's organisers, is coordinated by the UC Vice-Rector for Communication, Culture and Open Science, Delfim Leão. The event is also organised by the Open Access Books Network SIG and coordinated by Karla Avanço, OPERAS community manager.
The OPERAS Special Interest Groups work in collaboration, sharing information, observing and preparing projects on their themes. Each SIG works under the responsibility of a contact point who is, in most cases, a member of the OPERAS Executive Assembly. Each contact point brings together and coordinates the participants of its SIG. Special Interest Groups are open to everyone.
