The 1st UC.Space Day - organised by the UC.Space Interdisciplinary Initiative, based at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (iiiUC) - will take place on the 13th of September, kicking off at 9.30am at the Laginha Serafim Auditorium (Department of Civil Engineering of the UC Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Campus 2).

The 1st UC.Space Day aims to enable researchers who work, or are planning to work in the area of Space at the UC to get to know each other, exchange experiences and share collaboration opportunities as part of projects, courses, publications, dissemination actions and others.

In the morning, there will be various presentations on space research at the UC, and in the afternoon there will be a round table discussion about collaboration opportunities and future outlooks for space at the UC, with the presence of ESA Space Solutions, the UC Technology Transfer Division and Pollux Space Technologies.

Registration for the 1st UC.Space Day is free, but mandatory, and can be done until the 11th of September, until 5pm, by filling in the registration form.
