Applications open for the 2024 FLAD Science Award on Mental Health
The annual award funds projects in the field of mental health with 300,000 euros.

Applications for the fourth edition of the FLAD Science Award Mental Health are open from the 1st to the 30th of November 2023.
The award is an annual initiative of the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD) that provides a total of 300,000 euros over three years to young researchers working on high-quality projects in collaboration with research centres in the US.
Nuno Madeira, psychiatrist and researcher at the University of Coimbra was the winner of the third edition.
