UC participates in the Diamond Open Access community webinar
Event will bring together organisations and individuals who have endorsed the Action Plan, to discuss objectives and goals
Following the launch of the Action Plan for Diamond Open Access, signed so far by 70 international organisations and over 50 individuals, a webinar for the Diamond Open Access community takes place on 22 April. The aim of the meeting will be to discuss issues such as the short, medium and long-term goals for Diamond Open Access, the reasons why supporters have taken part in the Plan, and what their motivations and capacities are for joining the community. The University of Coimbra is among the first group of organisations that endorsed the Action Plan in its release.
The webinar, which has open registrations via Zoom, will serve as the basis for a future public event this year that will bring the community together to work through the outcomes of the meeting and guide the process forward.
The Action Plan for Diamond Open Access is a joint initiative of Science Europe, cOAlition S, OPERAS and the French National Research Agency, ANR.
