UC intends to reorganize its “digital building”

Within the scope of the Open Science guideline, the University of Coimbra (UC) is starting the process of reorganizing its digital ecosystem.

According to the Vice-Rector for Culture and Open Science, Delfim Leão, the UC has about “15 different systems, with little dialogue between them and little interoperability”. "We are working to, in some time, have them interconnected with each other in terms of information research".

The first step was taken with the beginning of the articulation process between the editorial management of scientific journals in the Press (Impactum Journals) and the institutional repository (General Study), managed by SIBUC.
