Event closed the sixth cycle of the Permanent Seminar of Editors in Mexico

On this Wednesday, June 24, at 5 pm, the Vice-Rector of the UC and Director of the Coimbra University Press participated in the panel "Open science and scientific editing - a better horizon after the pandemic?". The debate was part of the closing of the sixth cycle of the Permanent Seminar of Editors of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).

The session also included the participation of Argentine social anthropologist Hebe Vessuri and Mexican physics and UNAM professor Ana María Cetto.

The event, transmitted live on YouTube and whose recording is now available, featured a second table on "DOI and alternative metrics for scientific journals", with Francisco Muños-López, (Plum Analytics - Colombia); Susan Colins, (Crossref - USA); Heidi Becker (Dimensions -USA) and Arley Soto, (Biteca - Colombia).
