The history of the festival’s first decade is documented in the book FESTEA – Tema Clássico: dez anos de um festival de teatro (1999-2008), edited by Carlos A. Martins de Jesus and Luísa de Nazaré Ferreira, published in 2010.
FESTEA's editorial arm also includes countless editions of the so-called ticket-books, which are editions of the theatrical and poetic works belonging to the greek-roman repertoire, shared with the audience. Many of these publications are the result of researches done in the fields of translation and classical philology, carried out by members of the Centre of Classical and Humanistic Studies of the University of Coimbra.
