On the 11th of May, at 10:30 AM, the ceremony for the Conferral of Insignia took place in the Great Hall of Acts of the University of Coimbra for Carmen Soares, Margarida Miranda, José Luís Brandão, Carlota Urbano, Paula Barata Dias, and Susana Marques. It was presided by our most esteemed Rector, Amílcar Falcão.
Joining them as Sponsors ("godparents") were Maria do Céu Fialho, José Ribeiro Ferreira, Delfim Leão, Maria de Fátima e Silva, Nair de Castro Soares, and Francisco Oliveira.
Frederico Lourenço delivered the commendation for the Sponsors, while José Cardoso Bernardes delivered the commendation for the Doctors.
