Synopsis

This set of essays aims to offer the reader a systematized perspective of the presence and influence of Roman culture, especially at the level of identity issues, in contemporaneity, “contemporaneous” being understood here as the historical reality that followed the French Revolution, at the end of the 18th century. The studies brought together cover political and institutional realities, but also historiographical and artistic topics, from Literature to Fine Arts and Heritage.
