I am a paleontologist with a great passion for scientific discovery. The focus of my research is the study of the plant and animal fossils of the continental Carboniferous of Portugal. It has as main goal to contributing to a better knowledge on the floral and faunal diversity of Portuguese Carboniferous, providing important insights on the paleogeography, paleoclimate, paleoecology and paleoenvironments (and their evolution) of this time interval.
