Pollination and Pollinators: New Infographic

On 20 May, World Bee Day was celebrated with the launch of a new TERRA infographic, in collaboration with FLOWer Lab, entitled “Pollination and Pollinators.”
Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred between flowers of the same species, enabling the reproduction of flowering plants and the formation of fruits and seeds. Although often invisible, this process is essential for ecosystem health and global agricultural production.

This new infographic highlights the vital role of pollinators in sustaining our planet, while also drawing attention to the growing threats they face as part of the global biodiversity crisis.
