New publication! Global taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity of bees in apple orchards

The article entitled "Global taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic diversity of bees in apple orchards" has the participation of FLOWer lab members Rafael Carvalho, Sílvia Castro, Hugo Gaspar and João Loureiro.
In this work, data was gathered on apple-pollinating bees from around the world and it was observed that although they are different species in different locations, the functional groups are similar. The honey bee is a dominant species and the existence of naturalized areas around orchards increases the diversity of pollinating species.
