New article! PolLimCrop: a global database on pollen limitation

Christmas present in the form of a publication! And what a publication!
Catarina Siopa, a PhD student at the FLOWer Lab (Centre for Functional Ecology - Science for People & the Planet ), has just published her first PhD article in the prestigious Springer Nature group journal, Scientific Data.
In this article, he presents PolLimCrop, a database of pollination experiments, with the aim of providing pollen limitation values for animal-pollinated agricultural crops on a global scale.
The PolLimCrop database presents 294 studies and 1169 pollen supplementation experiments with pollen limitation values for 108 agricultural crops, covering 50 years and 62 countries.
PolLimCrop is an essential tool for researchers, farmers and policymakers, enabling them to better understand the importance of pollination for agricultural production and the environment.
