Fieldwork Completed for Hugo Gaspar’s 2024 PhD Project (INMELUS)
There were 30 days, 51 sites sampled, 3 times between March and July in the regions of Tomar, Nazaré, Guarda, Espinho and Resende, totalling more than 76 timed hours of bee collections and 153 floristic surveys. It included various types of habitats that will allow us to better understand the dynamics of the presence of wild bees where they provide pollination services!
This kind of work is impossible without the help of Pedro Lopes, Patrícia Ferreira, Catarina Siopa, Tiago Laranjo, Afonso Petronilho, Miguel Andrade and Sara Lopes.
Now it's time to study the insects and other data collected, to produce more knowledge about our wild bees!
