Call for collaboration "Fatal attraction: endangered plant's lovers''

08 novembro, 2022≈ 7 min read

Many flowering plants rely on animal pollination for successful reproduction. However, we still lack global information on the identity of pollinators of threatened plants.

With the aim of improving our current knowledge on pollinators of endangered plant species, Sara Lopes, Sílvia Castro, João Loureiro and Bostjan Surina from the Working Group 1 of the COST Action ConservePlants, are seeking researchers who can share their data on pollinators of endangered plants.

If you or any of your colleagues study or studied endangered plant species (CR, EN and VU) at the European or national levels and have data on their pollinators, we invite you to participate in this activity!

You can contribute with data already published or with your field observations for the species you work with.

For that, report your interest by filling out the form https://forms.gle/juTNPXth5ZyDm9MX6 until November 30th, 2022. (You can also access it through the QR Code).

Participants will receive further information afterwards.

Please, feel free to spread the word and share this post with your colleagues.
