Activity "programa e2" in Alcobaça
Invited by LPN - Liga para a Protecção da Natureza, and in collaboration with INIAV, IP and COTHN, on 10 September we talked about the importance of pollinators and pollination in agriculture, particularly in national fruit production.
The activity took place at the Vieira Natividade National Fruit Growing Station as part of the Bee Responsible project, an Iberian project coordinated by the Liga para a Protecção da Natureza (Portugal) and ecocolmena (Spain) funded by the Freudenberg Group's e2 programme (e=environment + e=education).
Participants were also invited to perform a harvest of 2 apple varieties with demonstration of the best method.
