Nuno Grácio’s PhD major review

On the 17th October 2025, Nuno Grácio, member of the Finger-PT team, had his PhD major review at the University of Coimbra, in the Earth Sciences Department.
The jury members included Emilie Bruand (Geo-Ocean, Université de Brest), Maria Manuela da Vinha (UC) and Fernando Carlos Lopes (UC, President of the PhD program).
Nuno highlighted his PhD project’s hypothesis and objectives, framed within the state of the art, and discussed his methodologies, tasks, chronogram and preliminary results.
He had very positive feedback and discussions with his examiners, and is now well set for the next two years. Congratulations.
