Operate with: argon, nitrogen, helium, premix 1 (fluorine, argon, xenon and neon) and premix 2 (ammonia and helium). |
In this laboratory, geological materials undergo chemical and isotopic analysis in situ. We do U-Pb, Lu-Hf and trace element analyses. We have apatite, zircon, titanite, rutile, monazite, xenotime, cassiterite, carbonates, and garnet reference materials, as well as glass and pressed pellets reference materials. We are looking to characterise new reference materials. In the near future, we intend to develop educational resources to welcome secondary school students, to promote interest in geosciences and disseminate the research carried out here. |
