Eric Bertrand

Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, and Science and Technique of Physical and Sports Activities

Dr. Eric Bertrand is a senior lecturer in education. His research interests include learning in professional settings, adult training, training development and qualitative research methodologies. Since 2001, he has developed his work basing on Mezirow’s theory of transformative learning together with the Habermassian concept of inter-understanding. He’s currently working on communicational pedagogy using a specific method termed “inter-comprehensive interview”. Currently Bertrand is participating to two action researches. The first one (2016-2019, funded by PEP45) focuses on the transformation of social practices in the domain of care pathway support on the territory of Loiret (France). The second research focusses organisational transformations, competences and practices transformations induced by Garantie Jeunes, a system for the social and professional integration of young people.

Frédérique Montandon

Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, and Science and Technique of Physical and Sports Activities

Dr. Frédérique Montandon is a senior lecturer in Education and head of the department of Education and social sciences. Her research interests include interactive learning, parents’ social representations on education, intercultural education, artistic pedagogy and innovative pedagogies. She is the coordinator of the Franco-German Youth Office funded research on Institutional mobility, intercultural learning and inclusive education in collaboration with the university of Leipzig. Previously she participated to DESAMU, a research (funded by the National Agency for Research) analysing decision-making of professionals in the health domain in case of emergency and the subsequent development of professional and scientific knowledge. She also participated to FESPIPOOL a research (funded by Fondation de France) on innovative practices for the re-schooling of schools’ dropouts. She has coordinated several publications relevant for the project. The most recent is about Linguistic activities, teaching and rituals. An intercultural approach the school and training (2016).

Jérôme Mbiatong

Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, and Science and Technique of Physical and Sports Activities

Dr. Jérôme Mbiatong is a senior lecturer in education. He is a co-founder of the International College for Biographical Research in Education and board member of the Journal Le Sujet Dans La Cité. His research interests include intercultural learning, informal/experiential learning processes, adult training, training development, learning in the workplace and the professional development that ensues. In terms of methodology, his areas of expertise are quantitative data analysis, collaborative research and narrative research. Currently Mbiatong is the coordinator of KA2 Erasmus + MICEP project, focusing on the development of intercultural competences. Also, currently he is participating to the research Institutional mobility, intercultural learning and inclusive education, funded by the Franco-German Youth Office. He participated to a research project on European citizenship (also funded by the Franco-German Youth Office 2007-2010) and on migration (Funded by MSH-Paris Nord).

Aude Faugeron

Aude Faugeron is a PhD student at the Dyname (European Dynamics) research laboratory at the University of Strasbourg since November 2019. She holds a master's degree in educational sciences - social intervention from the University of Paris Est Créteil and a State Diploma of Social worker from the Uruguay France High School. Her main research interests are parent-school relationship and the parenthood process, identity strategies and acculturation strategies. She has also held several editorial positions.
