Necropsies are a fundamental tool in the study of wild birds, both in veterinary and biological fields. They can be a fundamental part of epidemiosurveillance, public health, forensic medicine or ecology studies. The purpose of a necropsy can be diverse: training, diagnosing the cause of death, collecting samples or detecting threats, among others. In this workshop we will explore the fundamental bases of a necropsy in wild birds: its anatomy, the necropsy technique and the collection of samples through the performance of a necropsy by the participants

Duration: 14-17 h | Maximum number of participants: 15
