University of Coimbra survey on sustainable development open for contributions until 20 June
Your voice matters in building a more sustainable and inclusive UC!
The University of Coimbra (UC) is currently conducting a survey open to the entire UC community, aimed at gathering opinions and perceptions on the university's policies, actions, and progress in promoting environmental, social, and economic responsibility. The survey also explores how individual and collective efforts contribute to achieving the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This joint initiative, promoted by the Energy for Sustainability Initiative (EfS) and the UC Office for Sustainable Development (GDS.UC), is open until 20 June and is available here.
Patrícia Pereira da Silva, UC Vice-Rector for Planning, Sustainability and Quality, stresses the importance of collective engagement: 'Together, we can build a fairer, safer and more balanced world for people and the planet, both now and in the future.' She encourages participation, adding: 'We’re counting on you – your voice matters!'
The survey builds on work initiated in 2022. The final report is available at https://www.uc.pt/en/sustainability/documentation/.
