University of Coimbra launches knowledge tests in digital format for public competition procedures

In October, the University of Coimbra administered four knowledge tests digitally for the first time, as part of four public competition recruitment procedures.
In collaboration with UC Framework, the Human Resources Management Service organised the tests for approximately 200 candidates, who reported no difficulties using the platform and completed their assessments smoothly.
Although conducted digitally via the University of Coimbra’s UC Exams platform, the tests still take place in a physical setting, using specially prepared devices dedicated to digital test administration. This approach ensures a more efficient, secure, and transparent process, reduces paper use, and simplifies organisation — saving substantial time for all involved.
With this initiative, the University of Coimbra takes another step forward in its digital transformation, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and sustainability in managing recruitment procedures.
