University of Coimbra and 'HS Consultores' establish innovative collaboration agreement

This agreement marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening business development and fostering innovation across multiple sectors.

The University of Coimbra (UC) and the consultancy firm HS Consultores have signed a collaboration agreement aimed at boosting innovation and business development in Portugal. Around 86 business leaders from across the country attended the signing ceremony, which marked the start of a strategic partnership designed to support capacity building in businesses and promote innovative initiatives in a range of fields.

The event was attended by representatives from many sectors, including construction materials manufacturing, advanced materials, waste treatment and recovery, investment funds, electronics, industrial and process automation, IT, stock markets, software, agri-food, energy and sustainability.

Such diversity reflects the broad scope and potential of the collaboration, which aims to overcome business challenges by taking a holistic, multidisciplinary approach.
Participants discussed a variety of partnership opportunities and explored innovative solutions to current business challenges. The strong synergy between academia and industry was clear throughout the event, highlighting the crucial role of cooperation in fostering innovation and sustainable growth.
