UC 'Éfe-Érre-Á - Moments of Academic Life' gets honourable mention award from the Portuguese Museology Association
Inaugurated in April 2023, this unique space at the UC has received an honourable mention in the Visible Collection category at the annual APOM Awards ceremony.
The Associação Portuguesa de Museologia (APOM) [Portuguese Museology Association] awarded the UC exhibition 'Éfe-Érre-Á - Moments of Academic Life' an honourable mention in the Visible Collection category at the annual APOM Awards ceremony held today (Friday the 31st).
Officially inaugurated in April 2023, "Éfe-Érre-Á - Momentos da Vida Académica" (Moments of Academic Life) gathers the museum's collection and other items that reveal some of the most memorable experiences of Coimbra's student community. The exhibition reorganises the assets of the Academic Museum of the University of Coimbra, offering a unique insight into the most significant moments of student life in Coimbra (with rooms dedicated to each experience).
Established in 1994, the APOM Awards aim to "honour museums and their professionals in different fields, representing the complexity of a museological institution". They are awarded by a jury made up of members of the governing bodies of the Portuguese Museology Association - "professionals with extensive and recognised experience in the museum sector".
