StartupPitch Competition #SCS24 - applications open until 28 April
The winner will be the team with the most promising start-up and will receive a cash prize of 2,000 euros from the University of Coimbra.
Startup Pitch Competition #SCS24 is a technology-based business idea competition with presentations by 10 pre-selected startups during the Startup Capital Summit 2024 (#SCS24).
#SCS24 focuses on innovation, venture capital, technology transfer, funding, investment support policies and entrepreneurship. The event is organised by the University of Coimbra, in partnership with the Pedro Nunes Institute and the Coimbra City Hall, and will take place on the 10th of May 2024 at the Convento São Francisco, Coimbra.
Startups can apply to participate in the Startup Pitch Competition #SCS24, regardless of whether they are formally registered as a company, with a maximum of 5 years from their establishment date.
The application selection process consists of two stages: Application for the Startup Pitch Competition #SCS24 - until the 28th of April; and the Pitch Competition to be held at #SCS24: 10th of May, 14h30, Sala Aeminium I, Convento São Francisco, Coimbra.
The jury will analyse the applications and pitch presentations based on five evaluation criteria: Value Proposition, Innovation, Business Model, Intellectual Property (IP) and Team.
Only one winning team will be selected, and the most promising startup will receive a cash prize of €2,000 (two thousand euros), awarded by the University of Coimbra. The announcement will take place during the Sunset Party in the Convento Garden on the 10th of May at 18:30.
