INOVC+: Innovation Ecosystem of Portugal’s Central Region among finalists for the European Funds Awards

Led by the University of Coimbra and bringing together 23 partner institutions, INOVC+ is one of the 25 finalists for the Prémios dos Fundos Europeus [European Funds Awards] in the "Portugal + Conectado" [Portugal + Connected] category. Public voting is open until 17 October at www.premiosdosfundoseuropeus.pt/finalistas.
Selected from 282 applications, the winning project will be announced during the 2nd edition of the European Funds Exhibition, taking place from 3 to 5 December at the Convento São Francisco in Coimbra.
Promoted by the Agency for Development and Cohesion (AD&C) as part of the Portugal 2030 Communication Network, with the support of the Managing Authorities involved, the European Funds Awards recognise projects that demonstrate how EU funding is helping to transform Portugal.
INOVC+ — Innovation Ecosystem for Knowledge and Technology Transfer in Portugal’s Central Region — aims to connect science, technology, and business, enhancing the value of scientific and technological knowledge and promoting the transfer of research results to the regional economy. The project positions the Central Region as a national reference in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
