Iago Bebiano, a student-athlete at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, and his partner Kevin Santos won the gold medal in the K2 200 metres at the European Championships held in Szeged, Hungary, from 13 to 16 June.
Iago Bebiano's debut at the European Championships in the senior category brought him and his partner to the top of the podium with a time of 31.580 seconds.
