Ambassador of Guinea-Bissau guest speaker at the 27th edition of the UC Casa da Lusofonia Talks

Artur Silva will give a talk on 'Guinea-Bissau: opportunities and challenges'. The event will include refreshments and entertainment by the Cultural Section of the Guinea-Bissau Student Organisation in Coimbra.

The University of Coimbra (UC) will host another session of the 'Casa da Lusofonia Talks' on the afternoon of the 3rd of May, focusing on 'Guinea-Bissau: Opportunities and Challenges'. This event, organised in partnership with the Guinea-Bissau Students' Organisation in Coimbra (OEGB-C), will be held at the UC Casa da Lusofonia, starting at 2 pm. Guinea-Bissau's Ambassador to Portugal, Artur Silva, will attend the event, which will include refreshments and entertainment provided by the Cultural Section of the OEGB-C.

The opening remarks will be given by João Nuno Calvão da Silva, UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni, and the closing speech will be delivered by the President of the OEGB-C. Braima Baldé.

Participation in the face-to-face conference is limited and registration is required at dri.casadalusofonia@uc.pt.

The 'Casa da Lusofonia Talks' is an initiative aimed at bringing together current and former students of the University of Coimbra, both nationally and internationally. It gathers distinguished personalities to discuss current topical issues.
