The National University Badminton Championships were held on the 13th and 14th of May at the University Stadium in Lisbon.
Three of the 14 student athletes from the Academic Association/University of Coimbra (AAC/UC) stood out in the competition: Diogo Glória, from the UC Faculty of Medicine, took the national university champion title; Inês Garcia, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, won the silver medal; and Lara Santos, from the Faculty of Economics, took the bronze medal.
