Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) support researchers in all scientific fields and any nationality.

At the University of Coimbra, we believe that by receiving high-quality postdoctoral and doctoral researchers through MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships and Doctoral Networks, we will strengthen research and development capacity at UC.

Support for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks

MSCA doctoral networks offer the chance for UC researchers to promote a European doctoral network and mentor doctoral students together with colleagues from different sectors and countries. The projects include funding for doctoral students' salaries, as well as for training and networking events.

With these doctoral networks, the European Commission aims to respond to well-identified needs in various areas of R&I, exposing early-career researchers to the academic and non-academic sectors, offering training in research-related skills as well as transferable skills relevant to innovation and long-term employability.

Applications to the MSCA Doctoral Network coordinated by the University of Coimbra may be reviewed by the Strategic Areas Unit.
