Lecture on the Importance of Native Forests

On the 13th, researcher and PhD candidate from the Societies and Environmental Sustainability Research Group at the Centre for Functional Ecology - Science for People & the Planet, Terra Associated Laboratory at the University of Coimbra and its Extension at the Universidade Aberta de Portugal, Jorge Moreira, had the privilege of being invited to give a lecture to the 8th-grade students at the Escola Secundária/3 de Almeida Garrett in Gaia. The lecture topic was the importance of the Native Forest, a crucial subject for the preservation of our biodiversity and for understanding the relationships between natural ecosystems and societies.
