We are delighted to announce the publication of the article “Interculturality, public health and health education: data report based on the Virtual Learning Environment of the Brazilian Health System (AVASUS)”, in the prestigious journal Frontiers in Public Health, Section Public Health Education and Promotion.

This study is the result of a fruitful international collaboration between the Universidade Aberta of Portugal (UAb) and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), developed within the PhD research of Priscila Sanara da Cunha, whose work focuses on interculturality, public health, and health education.

The article was co-authored by several researchers, including Professor Fátima Alves, one of the PhD supervisors. It offers a significant contribution to advancing reflections on the role of virtual learning environments in promoting health and interculturality.

Congratulations to the research team for this outstanding achievement, which strengthens academic bridges between Portugal and Brazil.
