At the Doctoral Colloquium in Sociology of FEUC – Sociologies for the Future, Fátima Alves will play a central role as moderator in the session “Nature and Societies: Relations, Synergies and Resistances”, part of GT1 Cities, Societies and the Anthropocene, which will take place on 2 October at 11:15.
This session will bring together research that interweaves the environmental crisis with social challenges, addressing themes such as environmental disasters, climate justice, the rights of populations affected by wildfires, and new forms of community and resonance with nature.
