The multilingual discovery platform for the Social Sciences and Humanities, GoTriple, receives this month the first workshop in Portuguese within the scope of the iiiUC Trainings - Research Support Tools. This will be the first national workshop focused on the presentation of the platform, which is now available in Beta version and takes place on October 25th, at 11 am, via Zoom. Registrations are open and can be made through this link.

The GoTriple platform is the main result of the European project TRIPLE, integrated by the UC and funded by the Horizon 2020 programme with 5.6 million euros. GoTriple is an innovative multilingual discovery solution for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), offering a central access point for the discovery of research artefacts relevant to the wide variety of disciplines in the general SSH domain: publications and research data, project descriptions and researcher profiles. These are automatically imported from aggregators, semantically enriched and linked to GoTriple. Users will also have access to a number of additional innovative tools and services, such as a web-based document annotation service, data visualisation tools on publications, a platform for science crowdfunding, a recommendation system and a social network for scientific collaboration.

Currently, GoTriple harvests more than 4 million documents, 21,000 research projects and 3 million researcher profiles. The platform already provides multilingual search in ten different languages: Croatian, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese and Ukrainian.

Moreover, the profile page of GoTriple (MyGotriple page) will be presented during the session. On the personal page, researchers can create their profile, claim authorship of documents and publications and access different innovative services. Workshop participants will be able to create their profiles live and ask questions.
