UC participates in the National Meeting of Citizen Science
Activities take place simultaneously in eight libraries on the 25th and 26th of November
Building bridges for a participatory science: that is the motto of the National Meeting of Citizen Science (ENCC 2021), taking place this Thursday, 25, and Friday, 26, in eight public and university libraries around the country. In Coimbra, the activities will take place in the Physics Department, at Rómulo - Centro Ciência Viva of the University of Coimbra.
The Meeting focuses on sharing and discussing the challenges and the best practices for a more effective involvement of citizens, business, industry, policymakers and the public sector in research and innovation processes through Citizen Science - one of the pillars of Open Science.
The format will be face-to-face and decentralized: each of the eight participating libraries will broadcast their activities to the other spaces hosting the event.
The activities from the University of Coimbra are coordinated by the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (iiiUC).
