Between the 24th and 26th of February, the "Future of scholarly communication" workshop discusses, within the scope of the OPERAS-P project, different topics on scholarly communication, especially those covered in its Work Package 6 (focused on Innovation).

The event, whose registrations are now open (access here) will cover the presentation of research results developed at OPERAS-P, in order to receive feedback from invited experts and the audience. Among the topics to be discussed are: innovative governance models in the social sciences and humanities (SSH), business models for open access books, multilingualism and bibliodiversity in the SSH, opportunities and challenges to the FAIRification of SSH data (Findable -Accessible-Interoperable-Reusable), the future of academic writing, and the quality assessment of new research and innovative publications in the social sciences and humanities.

The Vice-Rector for Culture and Open Science of the University of Coimbra, Delfim Leão, will coordinate the session on February 25 (Thursday) that will address the innovative models of bibliodiversity in scholarly publications. The session takes place from 11am to 12:30 pm (Lisbon time).
