Focusing on the implementation phase of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), the EOSC Association presents the largest annual event of its community, the EOSC Symposium. The meeting will be held completely online and takes place between the 15th and 18th of June.

The EOSC Symposium will provide a key opportunity for community engagement; during its realization, the association establishes its Advisory Groups and Task Forces. These groups will focus on priority areas for the EOSC implementation phase. The University of Coimbra is directly represented in the Task Force “Research Careers, recognition and credit”, through the Vice-Rector for Culture and Open Science, Delfim Leão, one of the coordinators of the task force.

The event's program is structured around the advisory groups and task forces, and will also include sessions on calls on Horizon Europe, EOSC engagement mechanisms at the national level, priorities for the implementation phase, engagement and cross-fertilization between the research infrastructures and the EOSC ecosystem, as well as open-ended sessions on the EOSC and the EOSC Association. The full program can be accessed here.

The Symposium will provide an inclusive platform for all stakeholders to share objectives, visions, activities and results in order to shape the future of EOSC. The event is organized by the EOSCScretariat.eu project, as part of the EOSC Governance support.

Registration is free and can be made through this link.
