The INCLUDE European Project (Horizon-Europe, WIDERA Programme) and the Doctoral Schools, implemented by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra (IIIUC), are promoting a Capacity Building Course in Gender Equality in Research and Innovation.
The course, which is free of charge will take place in person at the IIIUC. It will be conducted in portuguese and is open to the entire UC community.
The sessions will take place according to the following scheme:
- 1st class: 24 and 31 October 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- 2nd class: 18 and 20 November 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
By attending these sessions, you will learn to identify and use key concepts related to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion. You will learn to recognise the challenges and how science policy and funding frameworks are changing, and you will learn how to integrate gender into research content and the writing of initiatives and projects.
