The Spirit of Science is a Living Spirit!
Francisco Ribeiro accepted the challenge of PubhD Coimbra and came to explain his PhD project: “Perineuronal Nets in Autism!” Francisco is a student in the Doctoral Program in Health Sciences and conducts his research at CIBIT – Coimbra Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Translational Research.
Why did you decide to participate in PubhD Coimbra?
Because I believe it’s a very important event to connect Society with Science, and increasingly important given the challenges the world is facing. I think the role of Science must be increasingly valued.
What was your experience like in this edition of PubhD Coimbra?
It was a good experience. I think the atmosphere was very welcoming and very conducive to discussion and critical thinking. And that’s what we need to encourage, critical thinking and scientific spirit.
Would you recommend participation to other colleagues?
I would obviously recommend it to everyone, to come and share their research and experiences, and to inspire others to embrace this spirit of Science. It is a living spirit.
