On July 25 at Liquidâmbar at 10pm, three PhD students will present their projects.
- Louise Beja, a PhD student in Law, will talk about her research at the IJ | Instituto Jurídico, on the military application of artificial intelligence in lethal autonomous weapons systems in times of war.
- João Martins, a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at IT | Instituto de Telecomunicações, will talk about security in the physical layer for communication in 6G systems.
- Maria Francisca Madeira, a PhD student in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine at CNC | Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, will talk about the influence of early stress on anxiety, highlighting the role of the MeCP2 protein.
