On March 30th at Liquidâmbar, at 10pm, three PhD students will present their projects.

  • Laura Brito, PhD in Sociology and member of the Centre for Social Studies (CES), will discuss how "Gender, race and class discriminations influence the experiences of pregnancy, birth and postpartum".

  • Rodney Miotti, PhD in Chemical Engineering and part of the Centre for Research in Chemical Process Engineering and Forest Products (CIEPQPF), will speak on "Obesity: a matter of biotechnology, engineering and public health".

  • Inês Oliveira, PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, will speak about "Pancreas Cancer".
