iiiUC researchers win EARMA awards

The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research of the University of Coimbra was awarded 3 grants for the Conference European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA). The researchers awarded are Ana Santos Carvalho in the EARMA Accepted Speaker Bursary category, and Natacha Leite and Shiva Saadatian in the EARMA Widening Bursary category.

The Conference will take place in Prague on April 24th, 25th and 26th, 2023 with the main theme of Widening and Deepening the Profession of Managers and Administrators. Topics such as: Open Science and Responsible Research and Innovation; Organization of the Research Support Service - Professional Development, Competence Development and Team Building; Policy, Strategy, Evaluation; Leadership; Proposal Development; Project Management; and Research Information Systems and Research Information will also be part of the discussion during the conference days.

EARMA, as the European Association representing the community of Research Managers and Administrators, has as main objective to stimulate proximity between research funding organizations and the scientific community, bridging the cultural and legal differences between countries, academia and industry, contributing to the creation of more and more competitive research projects.
