The second session of 2024 of the iiiUC trainings: Tools to support research, is dedicated to the topic of Introduction to Github, project management and collaborative work.

GitHub is one of the main platforms for hosting open access code online. Thanks to file version control and repository management tools, project management becomes transparent. This workshop introduces the basic tools and workflow on Github, which allow programmers and non-programmers to collaborate online and in open access. This is a practical, from scratch workshop led by OCH (Marie Skłodowska-Curie PostDoc Fellow - Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies, CEIS20), with the participation of Carolina Travassos (Student on the Biomedical Engineering Doctoral Programme) and Bruno Direito (Researcher at the Centre for Informatics and Systems at the University of Coimbra, CISUC) on collaboration and project management using GitHub.

This training will take place on 29 February 2024 at 2:30pm.

This iiiUC event is online, in Portuguese and open to the entire University of Coimbra community.
