Considering the new challenges and faced by professionals in Higher Education Libraries, the Re.Data consortium is organizing a free workshop on June 25, with certificates of participation available for attendees.

This initiative precedes the 6th Meeting of Higher Education Libraries and aims to promote the development of skills in research data curation. It will provide tools for best practices, explore tools and work methodologies, and encourage a reflection on the role of libraries in supporting research and data curation in science.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare data for deposit and publication;
  • Support data documentation throughout the data lifecycle;
  • Metadata curation in repositories;
  • Prepare and document data to make it FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

Target Audience

Professionals supporting research activities — such as information professionals, librarians, etc. — who wish to develop skills in data curation.

Registration for the workshop is available here.
