The kick-off meeting of the Re.Data project took place on the 10th January 2025. This project is co-led by the Instituto de Investigação Interdisciplinar da Universidade de Coimbra (iiiUC) and the Universidade do Minho (UMinho), and aims to establish and the Portuguese support network for Research Data Management (RDM), funded by FCCN under the PRR.

Re.Data results from a consortium that includes iiiUC, UMinho, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Instituto Politécnico de Bragança and Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Together, these institutions intend to promote the implementation of the National Programme for Open Science and Open Research Data (PNCA DAI) promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

The work plan will be based on three main axes:

  • institutional Open Science (OS) and RDM policies;
  • training and education;
  • data curation and life cycle of research data.
