The Dare2Change Conference promoted by Colab4Food, PortugalFoods and INIAV took place on April 2nd in Porto.
The conference was centred around a debate on the future challenges facing the agri-food sector and the business opportunities and partnerships it creates. Dare2Change promotes what is being done in Portugal in the agri-food sector, from technological innovation to new business models. It aims to increase synergies between the scientific and technological system and the business community in order to stimulate the creation of value and competitiveness in the sector through the sharing of knowledge.
The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (IIIUC) and the UC Food Interdisciplinary Initiative were present at Dare2Change with the aim of boosting their links to the agri-food sector, as well as sharing some of the scientific work carried out in this area, which can be found here.
IIIUC is part of the Dare2Change Scientific Committee since the first year and has been present at every edition of the Conference.
