The symposium “Brain in Action – From Endogenous to Induced Brain Plasticity” will take place on March 26, 2026, at Auditório Híbrido, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Medicine, Polo 1, University of Coimbra.
This free event, sponsored by IBRO, will bring together international and national speakers, offering a unique opportunity for the research community to interact with leaders in the fields of brain plasticity, neuronal reprogramming and neurogenesis.
Program Highlights
Keynote Speakers
- Magdalena Götz (LMU Munich, Germany)
- Jens Christian Schwamborn (University of Luxembourg)
- Jorge Valero (University of Salamanca, Spain)
Invited Speakers
- Luísa Pinto (ICVS, University of Minho)
- Liliana Bernardino (University of Beira Interior)
- Simão Rocha (Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon)
The symposium will close with a Round Table on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Neurosciences, supported by the World Women in Neuroscience (WWN) network.
We look forward to welcoming you to Coimbra.
